Master Trainer, Master Brow Artist and Master Lasher
Blanca is an expert esthetician of over 18 years who graduated Sheridan College with honours, and remains dedicated to delivering the best microblading and permanent makeup techniques in Durham. Today, however, she is equally passionate about passing her knowledge and refined skills on to others. Countless students have learned through her equally engaging and empowering approach to adult learning techniques that allow her to customize her training to any learning personality and have become sought-after beauty artists of their own right.
A stranger to cookie-cutter methods, Blanca is known for creating the shapes that flatter each individual client the most and enhance their unique features as well as for designing the perfect eyebrow shape that perfectly complements their look and personal style.

Kay is one of our younger team members and therefore popular with our younger clientele. Her maturity and deep-founded skill set however make her a great choice for clients of any age. Known for her eye for detail, she is a true master of her craft and will always assure that you leave our lash bar and beauty boutique with the most perfect lashes and brows. Like all our team members, Kay has great passion for learning and evolving — always looking to upgrade her skills, discover new trends and master the latest techniques.
Our team as well as our clients love Kay her for sweet disposition and kind nature. Her gentle touch makes for a relaxing, soothing and truly spa-like customer experience — you simply get to lay back and treat yourself to beautiful lash extensions, brows or permanent makeup.
Kay is certified in lash extensions, lash lifts and tints as well as in all brow services, such as powder brows, ombre brows, henna brows, brow lamination and tint. She also offers permanent makeup services, including permanent lip-liners and lip-blushing.

Andrea is skilled and multi-certified in her craft, bringing her true nature as an artist into her work, along with her lifelong passion for creating beauty. If you are looking for the most creative approach to your lashes and brows — Andrea is your go-to artist, always ensuring the result matches your looks as well as your personality.
Whilst Andrea, with her outgoing and talkative personality, makes your visit at Lashes by Design Lash Bar and Beauty Boutique fun and engaging. Her skills do not fall short in her work. She is 4x lash- and 5x brow-certified, guaranteeing outstanding work with each and every client. With an on-going commitment to upgrading her skills, she always stays on top of the latest techniques and trends to create beautiful, outstanding lashes that get all the compliments. Bringing her creative eye into her lash-work, she loves mixing various curls and lengths for a signature lash-look that is unique to every client.
Andrea never compromises on lash and brow health, her expansive knowledge and education serve to ensure optimized retention and care whilst giving you exactly the look you want.
Andrea offers a wide range of services and expertise, from lash extensions, lash lifts and tints to brow microblading, brow lamination, henna brows, as well as brow and lash tint. She is also certified in saline removal to remove no longer wanted brow tattoos and permanent makeup to give you a fresh start, as well as in inkless stretch mark removal and safe removal of radiation markers.

If you are looking for the most glamorous, dramatic and simply show-stopping lashes, Joanne is the perfect artist for you. As a true veteran in the beauty industry with many years of experience in all lashing techniques, she will create the look for you that best compliments facial features and your personality. Joanne started out as a make-up artist with clients in the professional entertainment industry and has been working for years as a 3x certified mobile lash technician with clients throughout the GTA and downtown Toronto. We are thrilled she has joined our team for a few days per week.
Joanne is known to work fast and efficiently, whilst never compromising on the quality of her work. As an experienced lash and brow artist, her work is meticulous and will create a flawless look you will fall in love with. Her fun, easy-going personality and gentle touch make for a relaxing experience on her bed, and if you are amongst those clients who lack the patience to lie still for a long time, you are going to love her fast hand. Get on her client roster soon, her schedule will fill up!
