What do we require from you to complete your beginner lash extension course?
You will need to provide your own model for the practical part of your course to come in at 2:00 pm of your course day. They will need to be present for approx. 2.5 hrs.

The LBD Academy Russian Volume Lash Course – Advanced Level is being taught by the best in the field with a strong focus on lash safety and flawless application — allowing you to become one of the best lash artists in your area, trained by our award-winning in-house staff.
Russian volume is a class in its own and unparalleled in elegance, creating the most dramatic look by attaching 2 to 6 lash extensions to every single natural lash. 3. Leave a deposit
A non-refundable $150 (lash extension beginner course) or $300 (Russian volume lash extension course) deposit is required at the time of registration to hold your spot. HST will be added to all invoices. Be sure to keep your invoice for tax purposes, they can be used as a business write-off.

Lashes and Lashing FAQs
At LBD Academy, we realize that everyone learns at a different speed. Our course price is based on a one-day course however, we have an open-door policy for our students to return to the academy to practice on additional models or sit in on another class at no additional cost to them.
This course is designed for students new to the lash world. We will teach you the fundamentals of damage free eyelash extension application using Classic, Ellipse/Cashmere lashes. We recommend you master this technique (and not before) prior to taking the Russian Volume course.
Once you are a certified lash artist you will need to work on your timing. We recommend getting your timing down to 2.5 hrs for a full set without compromising the quality before charging full price.
The Russian volume course is an advanced lash course and should only be taken once you have mastered Classic and Ellipse lashes. The beginner course will teach you all the fundamentals of lashing which is necessary before moving on to volume lashes.
No! At LBD Academy, our course will teach you how to create hand made fans which can be customized based on your client’s natural lash and desired look.
At LBD Academy, we have found that students are much more successful when they have mastered one technique before moving on to the more advanced lashing techniques. For best results, we HIGHLY recommend taking the Russian Volume course after you have completed a minimum of 40 clients — any sooner will result in not mastering basic skills, leaving you frustrated. As the old term goes, “Practice makes perfect!”
We always suggest that you compare pricing with your competitors in your local area.
We have found the average range to be:
- $100 to $150 for a Classic Full Sets with reputable companies.
- $175 to $250 with for Russian Volume with reputable companies.
